Site naming problem
This is for the java desktop version:
I stored a site named "sitealpha". After that I was not able to generate a password for "site" anymore, because the autocomplete feature would always interfere. When I put in "sitealpha" and started deleting letters from the end, the password would not change. When I arrived at "site", it would turn to "sitealpha" again. Generelly, when you delete letters in as site's name, the password doesn't change, contrary to adding letters.

I think I just run into the same problem with the Desktop Java Version.
I had accidentally added a space behind the sites name and added the site. The "space" makes it generate a different password, then.
Is there any way to remove the misspelled site from cache and add it again?

You can open the file that holds the site names and edit it manually in a text editor. It's in your home directory under
.mpw.d/[your name].mpsites

yes, I know, this is a workaround, but isnt't it a bug nevertheless?

These are two separate issues, but yes, your reported issue is definitely a bug and yes, the app should allow you to delete or modify site names somehow.

Hi,
I got the same issues with the MacOS version: I already habe something like "site10.mycompany.com" and want to create "site1.mycompany.com". Simply doesn't work. :(
I suggest a hotkey like alt+enter/option+enter to create the newly entered site anyway.
Cheers
