macOS App unlock via TouchID
Newer Macbooks support TouchID. Would be great to activate this feature just like the iOS App FaceID unlocking feature via In-App-Purchase.
spectre.app doesn't support macOS yet, if I'm not mistaken. Otherwise would be a great starting point to implement it there as well. Or even think about making spectre a fully universal app for M1 users.
Thanks.
Also is there a public repo for sepctre?

Hi, BH.
Looking into using macOS' TouchID is a good suggestion; I'm not certain what APIs are available, but happy to look into it as part of the macOS build for Spectre.
We'll definitely be making Spectre a universal app when it lands.
Spectre's source code is available at: https://gitlab.com/spectre.app

Thanks for the swift reply. Exciting news!
TouchID on Macs (w/ Touchbar and non-touchbar like the M1 Air) can be used by 3rd party apps.
I believe the API is documented here: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/localauthentication?changes=latest_minor
