Import of passwords fails from iOS to Mac
Every time I try to import my passwords on my Mac I get this error message: Import failed because of an internal error.
I know that MasterPassword is not actually a password safe but I'd like to us it as such one.

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

Hi Hannes,
it worked for me to use not the Masterpassword App from the website but to use the one from the MACOS AppStore. Then Import User.

Yes, to import data from the current version of the iOS app, you'll need the current version of the macOS app, which is distributed through the Mac App Store.
