windows 10 and master password

Hi I have never been able to get master password to work on my PC that is running windows 10. i have downloaded and updated the latest java. when I download the master password file for windows 10 and go to open it it ask what app would you like to use java dose not come up as an option so i have to go to search this pc once i locate the java file im not sure what to do as it opens up all the internal files to java and im not sure what one it need to be.
