no more export in .mpsites format?
Hi, after a recent update, I noticed the export format has changed from .mpsites to .mpjson, and more importantly, the new format doesn't seem to carry the 'custom login name' for each entry any more. What's the rationale behind the changes?
thanks, - Roy

Hi Roy,
The new file format is more advanced and capable of including much more detail on your sites. It is described here:
https://gitlab.com/MasterPassword/MasterPassword/wikis/File-Format
It should include usernames for your sites (under
.site.<name>.login_name
). If it does not, that would be a bug!2 Posted by Roy on 13 May, 2020 12:35 AM
Thanks for the response. My .mpsites file from Feb has a few "site passwords", along with 100+ "login names." The newest .mpjson file from this month actually has a few "login_names," and upon closer examination, the values for those "login_names" are actually identical to "site passwords" in Feb export. So, it looks like the newest desktop version is writing out "site passwords" as "login_name," and not writing out actual login names at all. Please confirm.

This should be resolved in the next update.
