Resetting Master password
I am told that my user id is not valid.This is not correct as I have been using it for the longest time.

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

My computer keeps asking me for the master password, especially in Firefox. I don't really remember creating one, but could have because I have had to be changing all of my passwords and everything else due to my computer being hacked. Please help. If I do not already have one, this sounds like something I should have. I would really like to know so I can create an account if I do not have one.

Anna, you are in the wrong place. The Firefox issue you’re seeing is separate and not caused by the application this website discusses.

You’ll need to be more verbose about your problem description. I’m not sure what you’re describing or referring to. If it helps, detail what app you’re using, what actions you’ve taken up to the problem point, what you see and what you expect to see instead.
