Lost passwords
I upgraded from an IPhone 7plus to an IPhone X R and I lost all of the passwords I established. When I open the app on my new IPhone it says new user. I remember the master password I established when I initially downloaded the app on my old iPhone. Please tell me how I can get all my passwords back.

Hi Jeff,
That's really unfortunate!
However, fortunately for you, with Master Password you can't actually lose your passwords. So if you log in with your original name and master password, any sites you add back should show the original password from before again in your new app.

That did not work because when I open the app it says new user, there is nowhere on the screen that says log-in, when I entered my full name and the short phrase that I originally created then typed in one of the apps I stored in this app it says tap to create.

Yes, that's right. You re-create your user. It will be empty. You add back your sites, and each site you add back will show the same password it used to show before.

Thank you for your feedback, but when I enter Apple for example it does not show the password I used before and I make sure it is on the “long” password.

Then you must've used a different input. Remember, Master Password is essentially a calculator.
1 + 2 = 3. If you don't get "3" in the end, you might have mistyped "1" or "2".
Check:
1. Your name. Make sure it is correctly spelled as well as correctly capitalized. "Jeff Hamilton" is not the same as "jeff hamilton" or "Jeff".
2. Your master password.
3. Your site's name.

I tried every possible combination without success.

If you're unable to recall your exact identity, just create a new one, use your full exact name, a new master password, and just reset the password on the site accounts you have.
Do a test, too. Make a new site. Write down the password. Delete your user, re-create it, re-create the test site, and check if the password is the same as the one you wrote down.
