masterpassword java process is never exiting

If I close the Masterpassword java app in linux, the window disappears, but the java process is not exiting, it stays in the process list forever.
I'm using openjdk 10.

    That's because the application can be re-opened with the hotkey ctrl-meta-p.

    Mhh, same with Windows. So how can I shut down the app completely? And which hotkey is used with Windows?
