Windows desktop app keeps prompting for a new version
I'm using the desktop app on Win 7. After it prompted me to get a newer version from the website I downloaded it from the link on the website (https://masterpassword.app/masterpassword-gui.jar). But it keeps telling me that a newer version is available.
What's more, the newer file and the older one have identical hashes. So apparently there is no update? Is something wrong with update check mechanism?

There is something wrong with Java's redirect support now that the master password website has moved to HSTS for security.
This is fixed in the latest Java code which will be released in a few days.
