need to update app
hello
I have used your app for over 10 years and now I cannot get my info because it has not been updated to use with IOS 11. I cannot get my passwords or info now. I did back it up to dropbox but it says that it is a MKE file and I cannot open it. I really need my info. I trusted your app for many years and now I have lost everything. Dava

What application are you referring to, Dava? Master Password has not existed for 10 years.

yes, that would probably be right. I have used it for many years. I have not updated it for many years but I had all my info on it. I finally updated my phone and it would not update my app. Is there any way I can get my info from my app. It says that it is a MKE file but I cannot get it to open. I have tried everything. When the app had me to backup my info, I did.
What was the use in backing it up if I cannot open it to get my files? I am stuck now. I am a teacher and pastor’s wife and had so many logins, credit card info, passport info, etc. on it.

I don't know what MKE files are, Master Password does not create such files.
You could try to open the file in Notepad and seeing what you get. If it's legible and looks like a Master Password export file, you can try to save it into an mpsites file and import it.
However, I'm highly suspicious that you might be confusing apps, you haven't responded yet: what application are you referring to? Are you certain you're talking about the Master Password application and not some other app? Master Password is not made for keeping credit card info, passport info, or anything like that.

are Microsoft files. Thank you for your help. The name of the app was
Master Password. Maybe there is another name for it. Sorry if it isn’t your
app. It was the same name.
