I recently update the app (22 April) on my Macbook and now I cannot paste any of my passwords into any sites in my masterpasswordapp. It works fine on iPhone and iPad. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure I fully understand what exactly you're having issues with. Can you detail exactly the things you're doing and what goes wrong / what you expect to see happen as a result?

Just to clarify, if I wish to use a website such as Amazon.com I copy the password from then go into the site - When I paste the password into the website instead of showing a series of dots indicating that the password has pasted correctly, I now see a single dot. Effectively the passwords are not being correctly copied or pasted into the various websites I use. Any help would be much appreciated.
    Many thanks

When you try to paste the password elsewhere, say.. the address bar, just to see what shows up, what letters do you see appear after pasting? You say a single dot appears, I'm trying to find out what this single dot is.

Have you tried right-clicking and using "Paste" from the menu instead?

Yes I have tried both of your suggestions. I tried pasting a password into the bar above but nothing showed either way, using the trackpad nor key commands.April

Just to update you further, yesterday, after trying both your previous suggestions again, I decided to export my passwords to a file on my Macbook, then delete and reinstall Master Password onto my Macbook. However, I now find that cant re-import my passwords into the programme. Any further help would me much appreciated.
    Many Thanks.

Can you have a look at the Console application's output while you try to import your passwords?

The error message I see when I try to import sites is as follows...

"Incorrect master password for the import sites"

Any further help would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Are you suggesting this is not true? Upon importing, you need to provide the master password which was in use when the sites were exported.

My master password (phrase) has remained the same since I first downloaded MasterPasswordapp.

    Many Thanks

    Hey Ian,

Sorry about the delay. Family life.

Can you reproduce this issue with a test account and provide me the mpsites file? That would allow me to look into the specific issue a little deeper.
