Master Password Mac version issue
Hello,
I'm running OSX El Capitan version 10.11.6 on a Macbook Pro early
2011. Master Password won't let me change my password type, stays
to long passoword by default. Also, I can't seem to save the sites,
so Master Passoword never creates a list (which it does on my
Android).
Thanks for your help, awseome app!
Michele

I have the same issue on a new MacBook Air - 2017. But my password type defaults to personal and I want to change it to long. What was the answer to this question from 6 months ago?

They never answered unfortunately. I suggest you change your password
manager, keepass for Mac works great for me!

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll look into keepass.
Just after I posted the question, I noticed apple had an OS update. After I
updated, I had to re-sign-in to the iCloud. When I tried Masterpassword
again, the option to change password type was there! I suspect there's a
dependency on iCloud, and my sign-in wasn't current. I'm not sure that
dependency is a good thing, though, so thanks for the tip about keepass.

There's certainly no dependency on iCloud. If there anyone is experiencing any issues still, I encourage them to look in the Console to see if there are any relevant errors there.

How does one look in "the Console"?

/Applications/Utilities/Console.app
Or use spotlight.

Thanks. MasterPassword is failing to let me change my password type again.
This is what I found in the system.log file. Similar text is there from
Wednesday when it wasn't working.
