App update (as of today) can't replicate old (Nov 11, 2014) passwords.
As I understand it, you recently updated the app to fix a bug when names contained non-ascii characters. To mitigate hardship on people, you included a 'V' field, to opt into using the old algo, so people can migrate on their own timetable.
Unfortunately, none of the versions of the algorithm seem to produce the same passwords as the old version of the app. Same problem on both the android and linux/java versions. Fortunately, I kept the old apk (download date: Nov 11, 2014) around, so I'm not completely hosed, I just figured I'd let you know.
