The new java version provides different passwords than the version before and also than the current android version when user name contains a special character.

Probably the same as in "Java desktop GUI changed and old and new gives different password!" , I only wanted to add that the android version is also affected.

So, maybe I didn't get it right from the original thread, but befor changing all my passwords I just wanted to be sure:

If I change my passworts to the ones the current java version generates, they'll be staying the same in future java versions, or will future versions generate the old passwords?

The app currently behaves as it should, it produces the correct passwords. The iPhone/OS X apps still need to be updated. So the passwords produced by the Java app are the correct ones.
